So I bought this today. The auction had it listed as a “Gas Pump Part”. I’m 99% sure that was not it’s original function. I’m usually pretty good about locating other examples of items before I purchase them but I could not this time, which is a weakness of mine. If I can’t find it, then it must be hard to find and I better buy it, right?

In the photos I’ve provided I did find an oil can display. It appears to have the same top but that’s all I could find. What do you guys think about it?

The can rack looks like a conoco with a gargoyle topper. I'm very suspicious of the whole thing.
