Anyone have any tips on setting new glass on the faces of a Tokheim 300? It's whipping me right now. I was thinking of running some cord inside the gasket slit that sits around body and pulling it out to pop it all into place like I do with VW windows. Anyone else have any ideas?

I use a cord, it helps. Spray it with a bunch of windex too. Sometimes I just find a tool, like a small screw driver and just go around it pulling it up.. but be very careful using a tool next to the glass.

I'm hesitant to use a tool for that exact reason. I've been on the wrong end of that one before.

I use a plastic tool called a bone. Made by C R Lawrence. Amazon has them 5 for $8.00 bucks. Work fine. Paul www.severngaspumps.com

I also put the rubber around the window first. Then I place the window on a stack of towels or blankets, then I lay the door (back side up) on top of that.

Well, I was trying to go from the inside of the door, out. That may have been my problem then.
