While going thru an old ban, I came across this item...Has anyone ever seen one of these??. What is it???
I think it is some kind of hitch that bolted to the back bumper of a 40's-50's car??. also found some old 40's
BUICK hubcaps...Any info really appreciated. Thanks

It has a release to fold down so you can open the trunk.

The guys have it. The only thing I can add is that this folding rear center bumper guard was a genuine Chevrolet accessory item. The original owner paid extra to have it on his or her car. John
