Iam looking for a “U” in the 30” GULF neon in most any condition. Also if someone has a complete set and would be willing to make a stencil of it I would greatly appreciate it and be willing to pay for a good stencil

Going to be a little tricky to make the stamped out part of the lettering. Maybe CNC plasma cut out two pieces and stack them.

Yea it might be. I’ve got a buddy said he think he can do it with a Pullmax. Just looking for something close. I figure 10’ up with glass on it no one will pay much attention

I wish I had a friend with one of those! Those are slick machines.

It wouldn't be very hard to convert an image to a stencil if no one's got one to copy. Apparently this is the "U" you are missing, found it on worthpoint.com. Be slick all done with the neon.

Thanks. That’s a good straight on pic. I think using the other letters and there offset might be able to create a stencil in AutoCad if all else fails

This ones probably better. https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/1930s-gulf-gas-oil-porcelain-neon-1733859854

I use to trace these myself and then I found these guys that'll do it for $20 or so. Just upload the photo and they will trace it for you. Way better and easier. Then you can resize it or warp it to whatever you need. In the notes, tell them to use "zero line widths", sometimes they use thick lines that screw everything up for autocad or whatever program you are using. I've probably had them do 40 jobs for me over the years, they do a great job with even complicated stuff.
