I found that site when researching how to sign up to possibly begin selling on Ebay again.
I think you would have a hard time finding anything like the complaint site for the "other" side as I believe there are few sellers (or even a lot of buyers) who actually think its a good thing to be forced into it.(I know!-a credit card merchant account is accepted too! Nice!).
Even on the Ebay discussion forums there are few people that stick up for Paypal.I would have no problem with it if it was not so obviously flawed and the unfairness aimed at the sellers.
Do you really think Ebay would be forcing this so agressively if it wasn't the "service" they think is going to turn their poor stock performance around for their stock holders?

just my 2 cents.i am not a big seller, but i am a buyer mostly.i have never had a problem with paypal and just recently had an ebay buy where seller would not contact me,and had not shipped item.contacted paypal and was reimbursed within a few days.i am not saying it is the greatest thing, just that it has not caused me any problems i do not like the fact that they are forcing you to use it though!

What happens when I sell a larger item not in one of the "special" categories and the buyer picks it up in person and pays cash? Ebay/paypal will know that they did not get their extra 2.9% for that transaction...will they try to get it from me or suspend my account for a vilotaion of their greedy rules?

I offer quart can re-lidding, can rolling, lid stamping, and dent removal.

I am a buyer only, and I love paypal. Mostly because I am a lazy buyer. I usually won't bid on something unless they take paypal. I would bet that 2/3 of my purchases would not have been made if I had to get a money order or mail a check. I don't even have checks anymore. I don't have stamps or envelopes. I think paypal helps buyers buy, and that helps sellers sell. I think it is well worth the 3% hit.

Granted, I understand how buyers can be angry at paypal when they put holds on money, remove money from your account because buyer made a complaint, etc, and I think those are legitimate complaints that need to be addressed, but the 3% fee is worth it to the sellers (in my opinion).

Not if you work on commission! PayPal is not a good thing at all. And where does eBay come off telling people that they can no longer use paper?!!!

FijiLane.i agree 100% with you...........i also buy a lot on ebay & love to pay with pay pal as a buyer however who does ebay think they are to tell me what type of payments i can accept as a seller,,,,,,,,its ridculous.........i don't see anything wrong with using pay pal but give me the choice to also accept paper............this decision will bite them in the *** & i believe it will be changed at some point soon......
