THANKS! Not shown on it yet is the M/S Visi that SavingSam hooked me up with...saved the day!

...I wouldn't do a thing more to them, the graphics look pretty accurate as is...is that the earliest version of an M&S 80?...looks just like an M&S 70 with an M&S 80 script top...

...and 5 quart Don has a porcelain Richfield Ethyl price box in the 'For Sale or Trade' section that looks like it might go with your pump...I'm not sure about the whole East-Coast/West Coast Richfield thing, but the colors look right...

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Thanks Gulfiend, it is a 70 with a 70 script top, was told it was a New York only thing? I've seen pictures of three others, and the auction I got it at had another 70 top that was Mobilgas Special. If anyone has any other pictures of them, I'd love to have them sent to me, Thanks.

And you are right about the price box...wrong time of the, um, discretionary income cycle if you know what I mean.

How in the world did he get the computer so clean?!?!? I was working on mine for a Bennett 966 and thought that I did a good job but I'm going back down stairs to start all over again. Also, what did he do to the inside of the skins? Did he just paint them silver or did he put a sheetmetal skin inside? Beautiful pumps!

Well, been down stairs for 4 hours now and I've found that if I take the Veedor Root computer apart (if I could figure out how) I would never get it back together again. I got several of the gears off and polished them but I just can figure out how the gears with the numbers come off. Thought about just bead blasting the whole assembly but then I would have to have new numbers so I'm back where I started. I'm bummed out now, guess I need to stick with visible pumps. How much does dice charge to redo a computer? My dad runs a body shop so the paint and body work is not an issue. I'll stop rambling now.

Brian, now I can see why you went to Dice to have the pumps done.
Wow, they're beautiful! The visi should really top things off.
Thanks for the pics. Sam
