I'm interested in hearing from anyone that is familiar with the Flight Gasoline Co. I bought a beautiful 15 " metal framed globe from well known Northwest collector Jeff Peterson about 20 years ago. The lenses have the word Flight above in blue, thru the center there is a interesting red arrow pointing to the right and below the word gasoline again in blue. Seems like I recall someone saying the company was an independent later bought out by Standard Oil. Any info. would be greatly appreciated

Thats the same info I heard on the company. I owned a globe which is green where yours is red. I believe there is one other color and they supposedly represent certain areas of the country.

There is also a Blue, and were for differant grades of gasoline. The California Oil Company [Utah, Nev,Idaho,Colo,Wy.] used these globes.
