OK my wife didn't fall for it either! You can't blame a guy for trying, can you?
I know many of you have had this same conversation with yourselves...
self you need to stop buying every pump you come across and finish the ones you already have
After the conversation I agreed with myself and decided that would be a wise idea. Then a email came in that said....
I have a pump like the ones in your pictures give me a call
Do I dare?
After all I did just promise myself no more pumps for awhile. Oh what the hell I'll just call him out of courtesy.
Hi there I'm calling about the pump you have. What can you tell me about it?
it's been locked up in a equipment shed for the past forty years. It says Richfield, I think that is the kind of pump it is.
Oh my that sound too good to be true!
I'll bet it's a Richfield branded Bennett. Good thing I just bought one of those so I don't buy this one! I'll go take a look anyway just for kicks. Heck if it's a clean find maybe I'll just send someone else his way.
And the rest is history! Once he opened the door to the shed and I seen that perfectly preserved pump sitting in the corner my promise was broken
The pictures are after a simple wash with the hose to clean off all the dust and cob webs. No rust, not a single chip in the computer faces....THIS THING IS CLEAN!
