Dies. I made a post a few weeks ago on the Bennett "pump gnomes" I found it and a nice lubester 20 minute from my home locked away in a equipment shed where they had both been four the past 38 years! Both are mint and only required a washing to be displayable. smile

Take care,
joe

Actually that's POR-15 on both the frame and base with a top coat of paint. I sanded down the base before topcoating so it was smooth. The frame I left with the hammered look. The POR-15 is kind of a bitch to work with but it will keep both parts rust free for the next 100 years or so! wink

Yes that is the ONLY way to do it! If I cut corners it will haunt me every time I look at the finished product until I go so coo-coo crazy that I have to tear it all apart and do it over again. grin
