After several years...yes years, my pump is done, sort of. Still need to do a few things but wanted to get it on display.
For those who havent followed this, I made the mistake of entrusting my pump to a "body man" who doesnt know what he was doing. It isnt straight, paint job is bad. Let that be a lesson to the new guys.
Rather than crying over spilled milk, I decided to make lemons out of lemonade ( thank you Yogi Berra) and accepted my pump as it is. Its just a Tok 300, nothing special, so I can live with it, and I like the look in front of my garage. It throws off perfect light in the parking area and I dont have to worry about it being outside.
I know the face bezels are reversed and a few other things arent correct, but the backside is bashed up pretty good, so I put the best face forward. I have it wired to a photovoltaic sensor so it comes on at night and shuts off during the day.
I want to thank everyone who helped me do this. Your help was invaluable. What a great site.
John

Thanks Ryan, the hinges I bought from you worked out great. It was a bit of a head scratcher to figure out how they work, but after a while you get that "ah ha!" moment when you figure it out. The engineers were very ingenious in designing those. I could say more about those engineers, but its a family site.
Thanks also to Vics for the repro handle and sight glass tag.
John

It wont be stolen. If there is an attempt to steal it my ins. co is going to have a much bigger problem paying for the clean up from the front of the garage when he meets my 410 pistol grip pump action Mossburg Home Defender

Looks perfect to me. I want my Tokhiem restored just enough to look good but not so much that I freak out anytime the kids play with it. When you are the only one they know with a gas pump the kids always play gas station when they are riding around. OK, who am I kidding, I love playing gas station myself.

John--I've got one thats destined for the front of my garage too but things always seem to get in the way! It will get there one day and the paint may go on with a brush! LOL
Don't condemn all body shops because of your experience. I've had both great and poor experiences. Just don't go back where you had the bad experience.
The pump looks great sitting there in front of the garage! Congratulations!! (now for #2)
