Good morning everyone. Chris asked me to post some shots of his 'Garage-Mahal'. This is a two-story building with three garage doors. He's still finishing up the interior - but the exterior is pretty much finished. Enjoy! Jim    [This message has been edited by T-way (edited 08-07-2007).]

Thanks Jim for Posting the Pic's, as Pogo said it's been along time coming , this building started life as a 16 X 24 X 7' tall pole barn which I built in 1986 ,This past January I took off the roof went up 3' bumped out the walls to 24 X 50 and added the upstairs which is just a storage area for now . I spent many days going through books and old pictures of old Gas Stations and decided to make it look like a Mom and Pop 1930's country store / gas station , I don't have all the signs up yet but its getting there , it will be a Red Indian / Texaco station when its done , The two Bennetts in front have Red Indian Globes from Pogo I have a 6' Red Indian sign coming for it. I have two other signs that will say (Groceries-Cold Beer)and (Boat rental-Live Bait) I want to put two signs on the Revere Light pole one that says AAA certifided Garage and one that says RED INDIAN GAS/ OIL and yes the Revere pole has a working water hose built in .as it comes together I will post more Pictures. Thanks for looking.

Chris, that is looking soooooo good. I can just imagine walking out the back door every morning with my cup of coffee and just smiling as I take a leisurely stroll into everyone's dream. Great job!!

Around 1967...when I was 5yrs old, I took a trip with my g-grandmother and grandmother from Wetumpka Alabama to Pensicola Florida.
We were in a brand new 4 door gold Ford Falcon.
We stopped at a little store...got a few dollars of gas*.
It was summer so we all got a Coke.
After pulling my drink from a door top Coca-Cola cooler and opening it with the opener on the side, my grandmother told me to go outside and drink it while I sat on the bench. I remember her saying it would cost another 3 cents each to take the bottles with us.
As I sat there on the bench drinking my 10 cent Coke , I watched the spinner in the flow glass spin and listened to the bell chiming every gallon.*The guy filled the tank, checked the oil, washed the windshield.
Dude ......you have got to get you a bench next to the Coke box.....sweet garage!!!!
