I am hoping some members can help me with some research on the old Gilmore Economy Runs. I have a 50+ year interest in the Mobilgas Economy Runs from my days growing up in the Los Angeles area and expanded this interest to researching the Gilmore Runs about 10 years ago. As I have discovered, most information in Newspaper and Magazine articles of the era have mostly dealt with the winning cars and drivers although I suspect some Gilmore issued items could contain additional information as I have found in the Gilmore Cub from 1936 through 1940. Perhaps members have copies of the Gilmore Graphic (I know there was a good article and results box for the 1940 event that I saw on eBay a few years back) and Gilmore Lions that could contain the following information and would be willing to scan...
Car No., Driver and Dealer/Dealer Association Entrant for 1936.
Car No., Dealer/Dealer Association Entrant for 1939.
Driver, Dealer/Dealer Association Entrant for 1941.
Many Thanks in advance. If anyone is looking for specific information on the Mobilgas Economy Runs please contact me as I may have the information you are looking for.

I believe the "Check the Oil" magazine ran an article about the runs, a few years ago.
