I posted a few pictures a while back of my southwest visible with the funky looking top and some of yall said that it was an ok7d but jacks book shows it as an unknown pump. I believe that a few of you said that it was a conglomeration of different pumps . Well i thought that might be the case untill this weekend when i came across another one that has the exact same top. So lets try to figure this out together exactly what it is. I will have some pictures on here as soon as i figure out how to do it thanks Wayne

Old Southwest literature is as hard to find as the pumps.

I was told that the day Southwest closed, a lot of guys raided the files taking all the old literature.

Barstow, huh.....well, here's ANOTHER one then

This one was at the salvage yard in Wellington. He told me it was already spoken for or I would have loaded it up! Odd one, it is.

This pump is like the depiction of the unknown model- partial one in the gas pump book. Nothing like an OK-7. The other one at the top of this thread looks to be more like the OK-7. I don't see the cross bars on the edge of the top on the other one compared to this one?

The two Ok-7's depicted in the pump book have the plain top. After receiving several pictures of OK-7's from other members when I inquired about mine....none had this fancy top.

Could you post some pictures --- the base and mid section especially? Maybe the top from the bottom up? I could compare with what I have.

I am thinking the OK-7 maybe changed tops during it production run or had optional tops? Factory used up some left over parts? The other pump posted looks to be an entirely different model.

My OK-7D also has the plain, flat jar lid. Perhaps Southwest used a batch of lids from another manufacturer to cover a producction shortfall?
