I have a client who wants to restore a gas pump and lubester in a gasoline/oil brand native to Detroit, MI. I am not familiar with what companies might have operated their and was wondering if anyone might know.
Thanks for your help!

...I would suggest contacting Wayne Henderson, and ask him to compile a list for you...I'm sure his rates are pretty reasonable...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Hello Randy - Wow! that Wayco logo is 'Way Cool'!!!
I am going to forward that suggestion to my client. It has great colors!
I thought about Benzol-Ford Motor Company too, but this guy is not a Ford guy.
As for Wayne Henderson, what is the best way to reach him?
Thanks for the suggestions guys! I appreciate the input.
Best,
Chad

Chad:
My vote is for Staroline, which was a White Star Refining Company brand. White Star was out of Detroit and sold gas/oil from 1918 to about 1934.
Check out page 125 in the 'Teal Book' for a few of their lenses, and page 198-199 for the history of the comnpany.
I have two of their images recreated - these are shown here: http://www.t-waysgraphics.com/decalsST.htm . Scroll down to the 7th row.
Globes show up occasionally. Dispite the fact of their limited numbers of colors, the lenses are quite striking.
And a Blue/White/Yellow pump would look outstanding.
Later . . .
Jim
