Some of these signs are like old rusted cars that need to be sent to the crusher, get them out of circulation.

Some of these signs are like old rusted cars that need to be sent to the crusher, get them out of circulation. Wow...that's harsh..lol For me, I like signs like this. I have a few that are in similar condition to this one. I know they'll never be worth a fortune (in fact, I might have more in them than what they're worth), but I guarantee you won't find another one like them..lol

Some of these signs are like old rusted cars that need to be sent to the crusher, get them out of circulation. How could a collector say that? Its not a super common sign. People like you that say scrap is what is going to kill this hobby.

People like you that say scrap is what is going to kill this hobby. Most "Collectors" would not waste their time on something in this condition, A sign like this one does absolutley nothing for the hobby, it only excites a newcomer who thinks they have all the answers and can call this a "collectible grade" sign. I say trash it before we lose a collector to hepatitis from getting cut with the thing

Some people can only afford certain signs. This one while very rough is still a "piece" of Texaco Advertising history. We as collectors should preserve gas station history. I would hate to scrap any old gas sign no matter the condition. If you do not enjoy it, other people out there might.
