Check out this auction... 280728279636

It was listed a few months ago and got bid up pretty high, I was pretty skeptical about it then, about 95% sure it was fake. Now that I see it listed with an amended description and the "Grandfather's Barn" line I'm now 100% sure its fake.

Someone went to great lengths to make this sign look old and by the looks of the bidding it has a few people fooled. Steer clear!!!

Known seller of fake overly sanded/thinly painted in certain sections signs. I came across this one too...someone took a lot of time to make it look old.

It just doesn't look right. I can see where it could fool someone.

This is the seller that has been mentioned on here before. He is very good at what he does, and has fooled many collectors in the past, including me. I alerted several members here and some were refunded their money, others were not. I was not because he happened to say in his description that he did not know the age. I have been watching his listings over the past months and NONE of his signs are original. These signs are not mass produced or machine made. Each one is done by hand by a very talented artist.
