20-25 years ago I went to an Estate Auction bought a few things but went by the site the next day and grabed a handful of these Gulf Station Reciept Books from the Dumpster, I could have had cases of them. Part that gets me the Coin Operated Multi-Map Dispenser that failed to get a single bids in the auction was there in the dumpster also. Not my parr for the course I left it there.

Are Gulf Station Reciept Books rare?

I think rare would be a stretch. If only a few survived from every Gulf station that would still is a lot of books. I think they make a neat inexpensive collectible. The phone number and the address make it traceable to a place and period of time.
Most of the time you can't do that with a pump or a sign.
If you could find a picture of the station it would be neat to frame and hang on the wall.

Looking for Canadian Imperial and Canadian North Star.
