Nice condition! I gotta think $2000 plus. I'm just guessing here as I've never seen one for sale or one in anyones collection for that matter.

So what is different about this sign from a cookie cutter?

Cookie Cutter looks just like its namesake from the backside. There is about a 4 inch metal flange style edging all around the entire outside edge of the sign, making it look like an old time "Cookie Cutter"--Just like grandma used to make different shaped cookies!
Micks new discovery is a flat sign.

This sign must have been made prior to the cookie cutter. I'm sure this design was changed once the engineer/design department started getting complaints about excessive damage due to flimsiness of a diecut sign this size without support on the back. (I pretty sure my English teacher from 9th grade is currenty having chest pains right now due to the previous run on sentence).

I agree 2K range...I searched aumann and mathews results and found NO flat ones? These are Much more uncommon than the cookie cutter...
I wonder what their use was being flat as compared to the cookie cutter? Good Luck! Hope you end up with it...

There does not appear to be an age mark on the bottom, so does anyone have an approximate year of make? When were the "cookie cutters" made?
