Right Chris and thanks. It sat in the yard for a bit. I'm not getting a whole lot of input on this one. I still think this type pump will come into its own one day. Anyway, I think they have a place in our collector world.
Thanks for the comment archer2.

Stan, the pump to me looks fine . It's the way you painted it that I would question . I'm funny that way. I prefer to research the way the Oil company would have specified painting such a dispenser . For what I'ts worth, I'm waiting on a guy to send me the Scale wayne 505's from a M R C service station kit to complete a diorama I have been desperate to complete for a show next month . In the past I have scratch built my own pumps . health isses prevent me from doing so now . Meanwhile, you have a nice addition to anyones Den ! Ed Shaver
see ya on the road folks !

I did a Wayne 505 duo for a friend a while back. Once restored it wasn't a bad looking pump. These will be very collectible in the near future and right now are very affordable. I like the add glass version. Your White Rose pump looks great- nice job.

I like the 605, especially the stainless on it. I'd say its collectable because if I saw one , I'd buy it. People in that generation will be looking for them soon. Nice job, John

I think you did a great job. I have one of these out back waiting till I have the space to work on it. I think they are one of the nicer pumps from the era that would look good beside any muscle car.
One question, why White Rose? A Canadian brand seems like a strange choice in the middle of US oil country.
Looking for Canadian Imperial and Canadian North Star. John Neilsen

I really wasn't crazy about them until a buddy of mine did a 505 in Texaco. The red pump with white globe holder with that stainless window bezel looked great! I picked up a duo to do up in Texaco. I do like the ad glass version as well. This White Rose pump looks great! Brady

Why White Rose? LOL. I like Toby Keith's song, "The White Rose Fillin' Station." As I understand it, yes, Canada had White Rose and the pumps were ALL white. Boring! I think White Rose was in Oklahoma and parts north also (in USA). So, there you have it. I'm not a "Purist" and I wanted something different than the run-of-the-mill Texaco pumps, etc. I already have Texaco, Shell, 66, ESSO, etc. Additionally, I don't want a bunch of restored pumps in basically the same color and branded the same either. I now have 16 restored pumps and I wanted a different branding with an array of different colors. In the end, I just need to please myself.
