In your ebay listing, you say that this item "was designed to hold an insert... that could be lifted out of the rack." What would that insert look like? Would it be like the wire oil bottle baskets?

Here is a borrowed image of what the complete set up would look like. The bottle carrier is not the typical wire rack that many of us are familiar with. The bottle carrier that fits this rack, is steel top/bottom, with round holes cut in the top piece, for the bottles to slide down into. There is a solid round stock handle that is in the center of the rack. A very well constructed, solid piece.
