I have a rather generic lubester the crank arm has phillips embosed on it and the tag reads phillips pump and tank co. Cincinnati Ohio. Was this a part of the Phillips Oil Co? Like many it is red with no surviving decal.
Thanks for any info.

There is no connection between the companies. Phillips made many oil dispensers, none of them have ever made my book. I have some proof that oil dispensers labeled and sold by the American Pump Co. were made by Phillips. Both were in Cincinnati. I probably have some color sales literature for sale on your oil dispenser, email me if you are interested.

Braden:

I also have a Phillips dispenser. My handle isn't embossed though. Also, my tag is off, although I have it, but I cant figure out where it goes. Could you post a photo of yours showing the location of the tag?

Jack:

I would be interested in sales literature for my dispenser. How do I get in contacvt with you?

Thanks all.

Steve

My cammera is on loan right now. The tag on mine is about 1" up on the base of the pump on handle side. just slightly to the back. I will try and tke pictures when I get my camera back.
