We made the trip. My jaw about hit the floor when I walked in and saw the lack of vendors and foot traffic.

And....add to the mix the prices of most stuff was pretty high as well.

It was good to talk to the vendors I knew..but for the most part the show was very diappointing. I think it was the first time I ever left that show without buying something.

Wow,what a disappointment! I agree, few vendors, high prices, didn't stay for the auction, the items that I saw looked like old box lots a household auction. Will have to think hard about ever going back, looking forward to columbus though, really not worth the five bucks to get in!

Friday wasn't too bad. I picked up a couple of cool oil bottles, a couple of signs, and a bunch of posters.

I actually did pretty well selling here as well, which based on the lack of crowd, I was totally surprised by.

Collector of Illinois Oil Company, Iowa Oil Company, Round Outboard Motor Oil Quarts, St. Louis Gas Pumps, Double Cola, and anything else awesome.

$60.00 of gas in the truck, breakfast and lunch, plus using up my day off.

I don't care how you try to spin it, this show wasn't even worth the $5.00 to get in.

Glad you had good sales, I sure didn't see anybody walking out with stuff on Saturday.

BTW, your posts would be more enjoyable to read and more easily understood if you used some basic punctuation. Just sayin.

Last two shows I have attended, did not go well on the eye. Both this show and one in Tenn., sure were a disapointment.

I was there and picked up a NOS Sohio can still in the original box. I was really surprised that more vendors didnt show. Hopefully this show will pick back up in the next few years. As long as it doesnt go completely belly up like Oil City did I'm cool with it. You're gonna have good ones and bad ones. See everyone at Columbus, my cooler will be full, come on over smile
