"Anyone knows of the color scheme on FINA's gas pumps in the 60's? Regular, premium and diesel. I just got a couple of pumps, and I have never seen any finished off as FINA."

I have a picture of a fina pump I will send to you when I get home from the office today. Its white, pretty simple, has a blue line across the middle with FINA in white letters. Then the logo below that. Ron

Some users may see only a little box with no image in the above message. Geocities is quirky about feeding images to Web pages outside its domain. If so, here is that image, cropped and on our server space. ------------------ Jim "Oldgas" PottsYour host and moderator

Thanks for your answers, Ron and Jim! I have also seen a couple of light blue/white Bennets on Tim Rohr's site. I guess I have to come up with something a little more exotic. thanks Claes

Hi Gary, I talked to a friend who had just found a FINA pump that seemed pretty untouched. It had red sides and top and blue doors. Don't seem to have had any particular standards in the FINA company;-)
About the Gargoyle cabinet - I have seen restored units that have been painted dark green with red top, but as the one I posted pictures of looked as it had not been repainted in a while, I think it would be correct. I also have a feeling it could be European, as the Mobiloil D sign looks as signs, ads and badges I have seen. Cheers, Claes

Fina also had pumps made for them with the doors cut out in the shape of the Fina shield in front of the dialface.

Hi, yes I have seen one or two. IIRC, there is one in Jacks book, and here's one found at "Dave's Place" from the collectors links here at "Oldgas'" http://www.davesplaceinc.com/pump.htm It is a Southwest model 80. //Claes [This message has been edited by fast66 (edited 06-03-2003).]
