My wife has helped in the decoration of my shop. I hade 20 License Plates from different states. She came up with the idea to use them in a border at the top of the walls. We put them up and they look good!!! I have gotten s few more in the last week, now to find the rest!!!!

I did that to my wall too when we moved in our house about 10 years ago. I got the idea from a farm my Dad and I used to rabbit hunt on. In the garage by the house they had license plates up on the walls like that and I thought it would look cool one day when we bought a house. I have every year from '49-'92 from KY around the wall with some from other states to finish it. Before they auctioned off the house where I got the idea from because the owner passing away, their son knew I liked old stuff and gave me some of the license plates that were in the garage so they are included on my wall. Good luck on finishing it and post pics when you complete it.

I have a Kansas and a Louisiana but they are big truck plates, and I'd rather have a Car plate.

Send me your address and I'll send you a Mississippi plate. Do you prefer a Magnolia or a lighthouse, or just numbers/letters?
