This Veeder Root computer is manufactured in Great Britain. I need help to identify this computer ... Is there an American produced Veeder Root computer to replace this one? See all the photos below

looks just like a side totalizing 12" computer with that one wheel changed. I think it is called a 45 computer? Wait for Joe Yocom to chime in, he will know

Yes, I have to Wait for Joe Yocom...
I wonder if he has one for sale or perhaps I can ship this one to him as a core for rebuilding.

That tabulates pounds or something, not dollars. American version would fit I would think but what type currency do your pumps calculate in Norway-pounds, no? Joe will probably know just what gears need to be changed. I'll bet he can do it. Use the search box, type in jkyocom send him a pm.

If you are not selling gas with it, to save time=$$$$, go back w/ a tenths wheel, It would just be a decal covering the 10 digit increments. Ron Scobie seems to have the best looking decals.

The way the outside of the wheel is numbered is the only difference from that computer and an American gallon computer. There is no gear train on bottom of the computer so that means ratio is controlled by gears in or on fluid meter.

Funny, the little piece of sheetmetal on the right side of the top of the variator has a totalizer chain hole to pull and inspect front totalizer, this one is a side totalzer

I did quit smoking, right after it killed me...LOL

I just noticed the wheel w/ the hash marks is on bottom instead of being on top.

Bottom wheels =gallons
top wheels = money

What are You asking for a restoration? Yes, You change the numbers and You convert it to an American gallon computer.
I wonder if You have an american gallon computer I can use in stock??

Thank You!

Yes, its for Norwegian "kroner"...
Made in Great Britain. Just for the European market.
I hope I can buy a restored computer from Joe or perhaps he can convert this computer to an American gallon computer.

Thanks,
Andre
