Looking to add a Shell sign to my collection; can the Old Gas community help me with an estimated value and the dating of this sign. Sorry about the pic quality, but not taken by me. The sign is double sided Porcelain; the picture shows the best side.
Thanks in advance.
Buying: Polarine / Red Crown Gasoline Globes and Signs, Early Chevrolet & United Motors Signs, and 1910's through 1940's Gas & Oil Signs.

Good question Gas sign guy! It could be 42" or 48". If there is that dated "Property of Shell Oil" and a date sticker it would be 42" I believe. I bought a 42" in somewhat worse condition about a year ago for $400. I hope that is of help.

Thanks for the replies, gives me a great reference point on value; the sign is 48". Posted a few more pics; seller is to get back to me if there is a date printed on the sign.
