J.J. Tokheim started the Tokheim Pump Co., investors took the company away from him and it was sold and moved to Ft. Wayne.
J.J. just started a new company, called The Tokheim Co., in Cedar Rapids, IA. This item was made by them. They were still in business as late as the 1980s.
Don't go by the Patent date on this float, they were still making them in the 1950s.
