There use to be one in Rome Ga called hill city machine shop and all there lathe and other machines ran off one shaft in the ceiling. They have torn down the building and I don't know what happened to all the machines but it was something to see in person.

Come back out for a visit Thunder, I know where a Ranch still uses overhead belt system.
