Hello,

Sorry in advance for the small photo but was wondering what the ball park value is on a nicely restored narrow body wayne 60. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance

Value of a restored pump? Tricky question!! A restored pump is much harder to value than a barn find. There are so many variables when it comes to a restored pump, that its very hard to determine. Quality of the restoration is a big factor with many facets to it. A restored pump is always worth more to the guy that collects the brand it was done in. Trim condition and signage is also a factor.
That picture is so far away that I doubt anyone will make a guess. If you could supply a better picture and a general overall description of the restoration, it would help. Don't forget to try the computer and be sure to look inside the pump.

On a "nicely restored" 60 that is complete I would say from $1500 and up. All depends on the quality of the restoration and completeness of the pump but the 15 and up should be a ballpark figure

Wayne wide body 60's in unrestored condition are easily selling for 1500-1600 in Iowa & Minnesota area.

narrow bodies are harder to come by.

I totally disagree with Wes....sorry....but this is not my opinion but fact for our area. Even if you think it's crazy its very true.

It's funny....

someone wanted to know the value of their pump.
I posted what they are selling for in my area.

Now I get a PM that I have goofed it up for somebody because they are trying to buy a 60 in our area and now the guy will see my valuation and want more for his pump.

THAT'S JUST FUNNY! I can't give an HONEST value opinion to make one guy happy without upsetting somebody else because I was being honest.

GO FIGURE!!!!!

I'll stick with honesty ....thank you !!!

Apparently a member was trying to get one with a LOW BALL OFFER!
Never hurts in the long run to offer an Honest Value, as Kevin Firth has found out, being Honest w/ a fair offer to his neighbors/friends for stuff. They're calling him first instead of hauling to an auction.
