My father actually attended some local Garage Sales this weekend, knew I was into gas and oil stuff so picked up this can, did he and I get lucky or are then cans a bit more typical? It is the 5 qt. can. Thanks!

I bet Don has already emailed him! Don sure loves those 5 quart cans.

Your northwest guys are lucky being able to find some of these cool brands.

I hear the creaking of the vise clamping down on 5qt's *****, you got him where you want him..LOL

He has been hinting about one of them showing up. Hope to heck your DAD remembers where he got it, go back and go over the place with a fine tooth comb, and give them a list of what you are looking for!!(not the obvious.. ask about things like lighters maps HAT Badges Lenses Photos etc) or if they know anyone that has some of those items they never think about til you mention them , then they remember that stuff!!

I think I will pay a little visit to the farm where he bought it from tomorrow! He mentioned they did have some more stuff, I hate to think of what!!!

I also dont know if I should say what he paid for it, any idea of the cans value? I have to pay him for it, my father wants to make his 1% on what he paid! Sounds like I better buy him a couple of half/racks!

Must be something in the air up here??? Just made some other finds, none as neat as the Gilmore. (the garage sale did not have any other gas or oil merchandise!)

Just discovered a Panther can and a Monogram can, will get some pictures up very shortly. The Panther can is just as wild as the Lion Head!

Finally, here is the picture of the Panther as promised. She needs some cleaning but most of what you see is grease, very old grease!

Logo is as neat as the Gilmore Lion!
