Would anyone happen to know what this vending machine sold? I was first told Hershey candy bars but it doesn't look like it once I opened it up. I can't find anything on line. It takes dimes and is chromed. Candy? Cigars? Cigarettes? Tampons?

Hard to tell exactly with this one dark glaring photo,but it looks to me like something you'd see @ an old laundry mat or carwash.

Post a picture of the inside vending compartment. Could be a variety of item: condoms, combs, candy, etc. I would lean more towards condoms due to the chrome plating. Dave

I have a similar one in stock which sold sanitary napkins. I think it's too wide for condoms? Paul www.severngaspumps.com

I think it's too wide for condoms? Maybe in Maryland, but in Calif. we had Annette, Marilyn, Elizabeth, etc!

Here are some better pictures. The product hopper inside is about 1" wide and 5" long. Tootsie Rolls maybe? Tootsie Rolls in condoms?

A real necessity in womens restrooms. Alas you rarely see them now-a-days. Do they still carry condem machines in mens rooms?

It's a cigar vending machine! Called Automatically Yours. Darn thing sold 10 cent plastic wrapped cigars. Came out in 1947. Hard thing to figure out. Thanks for everyone's input. If nothing else, it's been entertaining.
