IF, you had asked this question in Value Thread you'd had 4 ***** giving their 2c..
BUT N O O O O O, you just got MINE 2.5c!

Some YO-YO's in Mn./Mi. cut them down to replace broken cyl. in 117's.

My guess is that it has been freeze broke. I have had several and you loose 1 1/2" - 2". Some of them look like someone cut them they are so even. Richard

hmm...don't understand what you are saying in BOLD LETTERS(i don't even know how the hell to do that!)

IF I WANTED A VALUE I WOULD HAVE POSTED IN 'VALUE'...DON'T WANT VALUE!

why cut them down? isn't that too short for a 117?

If I remember my geometry right, that is close to 11 gallons potential volume. That still doesn't tell you what it goes on, but it might help.

if that's 11 gallon

then why is a 12 1/2 x 26 on a 10 gallon?

that's one thing I've never understood how 10 gallon pumps all have different sizes! how does that work!

Dick, I didn't know that bold caps made the comment worth more. I've just always added my $.o2 worth. I've been shortchanging myself by $.005!

You lose capacity at the bottom by the way it fits in the lip, and the casting extends up into the cylinder + air space at top.

Tim Rohr made size charts to determine what cylinders fit what pumps.

Referenced by company:
