Is it proper to have a globe on a Bowser 575? I have never seen a 575 in person that had a globe or an attachment for one. Conversely, I have never seen a 575 without a globe on anything posted on the web. Any ideas?

Thank you for your advice and link. I think your website was one of the places that I saw a 575 with a globe. Did any 575 come with a globe attachment? Are they all "aftermarket" add-ons?

that's hillarious...when I look at this on my phone the pic looks good but when I went to my PC it is flipped!
there i fixed and added another pic that is not sideways!

I have had many 575 pumps with globe mounts on them. I have also had many with out them, LOL

I did a 575 20 years ago and it came with a hole and mount on it so I put one on. It was pretty complete and original only missing a faceplate so I fabricated one from the original (porcelan)in steel and painted it and had it lettered by a sign painter/artist. There were none available at the time. It was my first pump so I use it in my signature.

I have never seen a station lighter for this particular pump, or even the Bowser brand. Do they often come up for sale?
