Trying to figure out if this is an actual early Anglo Gasoline sign. Anyone from western Canada ever seen this version before?

I'm not sure if these images and descriptions from the 'net, pertain to the question? (if not I apologize)

Is this sign from the same Company? If so, wouldn't this sign be earlier? (I ask because of the "Maple Leaf" logo on Colin's image)

"ANGLO Exploration Company/Purity 99 Gas station sign. Eventually Anglo stations became B/A stations, which eventually became Gulf stations"

"Purity 99 was purchased along with Shawnigan Chemical Limited, Red Head, Anglo-Canadian, and Royalite Oil Company in 1963. In 1968 all stations were changed to Gulf Oil."

They are both from different companies. The one you have is from the 30s,40s and is from a company out of Toronto,Ontario .It is Anglo Petroleum Limited. The other is Anglo out of Brandon,Manitoba Anglo-Canadian Oils Ltd. Your sign should be around the $1500 area.Send me your email address and i can pics of both cans. Thanks

Thanks for the info guys, This sign is being consigned to me for my spring auction and I wanted some additional info as I had never seen this version of the Anglo sign before last week.
