Today Larrys wife Ruth is throwing Larrys 80th birthday.Lynda and I will be attending and thought this might be a good place since alot of you are to far to come to wish him a happy Birthday.You see alot of you might not know Larry but I have had the privledge of knowing him for around 30yrs.He was the 1st one to offer me and Lynda the chance to see what this hobby and people were all about.He worked for the bennett pump co for along time and since retiring from there years ago still restores those pumps to there glory.So I'm going to cut this short and if you know Larry or not please wish him a great birthday today as it's been our great honor to know such a great person and corner stone that this hobby has had.

I see why you moved it and that is Ok,but I have to disagree with you on saying this is not petroliana related. I don't think there is anything more Petroliana in this great hobby than 2 words Larry Robertson.Just talk with any body that knows him!

Happy Birthday Larry! He gave me my first copy of Jack Sims 1st gas pump book at Michigan Gas many years ago.
