Yes this is a dumb question. It's a common sign. Mainly not sure how sign affects value? Not positive of size either, but from are Texaco in background I am guessing around 3 foot? Goodyear sign value is what I am curious of. Thanks guys.

I would say it is almost 6 feet wide and maybe 30" tall. More than likely double sided. Condition is difficult to see due to poor lighting.

I suppose it could be doublesided, though seen them single in this size too. Average price in the real SC on the east coast would be $250-300 single, maybe $75 more double given apparent condition. On a side note... just to poke fun at advertologist's oft stated estimates ... apparently they pay more for houses and less for signs.. Average home in So. Cal. is north of $350K... whereas in my area median is $155K.... I suggest a move South and you can use the home savings on more signs..

...could just be that Randy doesn't value common, rough signs as much as you do
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Very different climates produce very different conditions of signs. We in the South learn to develop a lower threshold or do without in many cases.

I agree with Randy if purchase is local, Paul is closer if purchased from ebay. JimT shows an excellent example of how condition significantly affects value.
Wanted anything Flying A Gas, Signal Gas, Hancock oil co, and Sunland.
Thanks Anthony

If I took that sign to the local market at that low Cali price it wouldn't last 10 minutes.. in fact I could take 10 in the same day at that price and not come home with one and would feel I left the whole cow at the market not merely meat on the bone.
