I have a script top pump I want to restore and would like to buy porcelain pump plates for it. I notice some are white on the back and some are black. Were these reproduced and is that the difference or are they all original and that was a normal variation? I don't want to pay original prices on reproduction signs. Thanks

I've got 4 different Conoco pump plates,
2 white backs & 2 black backs.. cool
