Rare & Beautiful GILMORE Lion Curb Sign - Double Sided Porcelain WOW! Super duper RARE!
Great Guy & Good Friend of mine allowed me to photograph his newest Good Luck, to share it, with you other Oldgas Sign Lovers. He custom built the "Deluxe" curb sign holder, with Lionhead medallions!
GILMORE had different versions of this famous logo: 1) the early "Wolf Lion", 2) the "Bear Lion", and 3) the "Beautiful Lion".
I like to hunt for the "Tiger" stuff, but I Love GILMORE too.
Good News! There is still stuff out there, waiting to be discovered! Go get'em Tiger!
Got Power-Lube?

When I started reading this post I thought I was reading a promo for a sale but turned out it was unabashed enthusiasm for a rare and great looking sign. Guess I am getting cynical! Yes it is nice that finds are still out there but always in someone else's hands. :-)
Thanks for showing us your buddy's Gilmore find. BTW that Gilmore neon behind the sign would look nice lit up.

Craig,
Thanks for posting the picture of his newest find. Never ceases to amaze me with the quality items he finds all the time. I almost fell over when I saw his Sunset sign in person a few months ago during a visit. This Gilmore is yet another in the line up of an awesome collection.
