Good morning Old Gasser's.

Snow here all day. Below zero temps tonight and Monday.

Colts VS Kansas City was an awesome game last night coming back from 28 points behind to win.

Everyone stay safe and warm today.

Got home from Florida late last night and woke up to a blizzard and single digits. Church was cancelled so setting by the fire drinking coffee and trying to figure out exactly why we had to come home to this. Oh well, it was going to be too cold to play golf or fish in Florida anyway so at least I can hole up here in the shop and finish the pump I've had in progress for a month. My reverse psychology didn't work this time on the weather when I installed the snow blower on my tractor a couple of weeks ago so now I can get it out and play today. It's all good. Have a safe day and stay warm if you're in the freeze zone. Enjoy the warm if you're in the DB zone or similar balmy locals....GB.

Good Morning everyone,

We didn't get much snow over night as they predicted, but the snow is making up for that now. 3" now with 10-12" when it is done. My 20+ year old snow blower has been falling apart. The plastic housing and discharge chute are held together with baling wire and a Vice-Grip. It was annoying enough for me to buy a new one and this will be the first real test of it in a few minutes.

Have a great day no matter the weather out there in Oldgasland!

Morning all, The white stuff not here yet. Tonight the temp tumbles and they have backed the snow down to 1 to 2 ins. OK by me. Get this they say people here under the age of 40 have never felt cold like we are in for next two days. Don't know about that but they have the records I guess. I always said after a point it doesn't matter how cold, but the older I get I think different.

Getting the xmas decorations down and put away from the outside.
Faster then going up as I don't have to make sure they work. Piece of cake.

HAGD-ALL!!

HAGD-ALL!!

A crispy good morning to all! Its 20 below with a very brisk wind!
We stayed inside all day yesterday because of the coating of ice on everything!
It was 33 above on Friday and rained for about 3 hours! Everything had a thick coat of ice on it, and travel was at a stand still!
After the rain, the temps plummeted and have stayed there.
Its supposed to be this way for the next three days!
I plan on getting a lot of shop time in but I think that can start tomorrow!
Today is more football!
Have a great day on me!!--KEVIN

In the spirit of the weekend-"tweet" (whistle blowing) 15 yards for un-sportsman like conduct on the smoking pug in SP! And another 15 for rubbing it in while we're down. Man the Packer-SF game will be brutal, even by my standards.

Hello All,
A great day to stay in and get things done around the apartment. Been cleaning here and there all day, looking pretty nice now, lol. PLENTY of snow forecast for the next day or two, if I understand the report correctly about 10+" by tomorrow afternoon. The super cold comes after the snow ends! I wouldn't be surprised if I don't have much to do at work with the roads as bad as they are.
Here is a photo showing current conditions.....it's kinda nice looking out right now, as long as you aren't trying to drive in it.
This is the view out my front windows....to the left is City Hall, City of Hillsdale Fire Dept. in the middle, and our U.S. Post Office which turned 100 years old in 2013. I have one of the best views in town I'd bet! smile
Have a good one,
Darin
