His ebay handle--ryanh1982.I bought and paid $250.00 for a Texaco keyhole sign, never heard from him, sent 3 emails no response.I opened a case against him and after 17 days ebay refunded my money. His feedback indicates he has pulled this stunt before, once for $999.99.

I'm the one that bought the air meter for $999.99, paid the very same day and he jacked me around for about a month. He provided shipping info that never got beyond "A shipping label has been created" eBay gave me a full refund but this guy still makes me sick, sorry it happened to you too.

At least ebay does stand behind buyers with the money back guarantee,i guess it could happen that a purchase could be made on a site other than ebay and the seller did not come through there would not be much recourse.

Kind of wanted that sign!

hawkike: "At least eBay does stand behind buyers with the money back guarantee".

Isn't this because of their PAYPAL Infrastructure? I believe so! Imagine the early days, they accepted Check or Money-orders.
With millions of transactions daily, how could they track faulty transactions & take care of buyers (in case of a dispute)?

I still believe eBay is the best place to shop & find that missing-piece to complete a collection!

Check out sellers feedback.

http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=ryanh1982&ftab=AllFeedback

He has done it to at least two other buyers.

Hawkike you still need to leave seller his hard earned negative feedback.

I have a question about that, does the seller then have the option of leaving negative feed back for me since the deal was never completed??Thanks

No more, it use to be like that. Now, if the buyer paid for the item seller can only leave a positive or choose to leave no feedback at all. Only two choices available to seller if buyer pays for the item.

Yes, like Dave said I would certainly leave the negative feedback to alert others to this joker. He can't harm your feedback score, so I'd do it in a second.

Your negative feedback will probably be the one that gets his account suspended as e-Bay doesn't tolerate much of this BS.

IF paid for w/ PP or a CC, those companies will reverse the charges for items not delivered.
IF paid for w/ a USPS M.O., file a complaint w/ USPS, they don't like mail Fraud [takes longer for refunds].

Wow Nashman, I was about to buy that air meter but decided to think on it while I checked out some other things,.... went back to it 15 minutes later and it had been sold. Sorry that SOB pulled that ***** on you.... I notice that there is another guy pulling some questional stuff with a couple of Eco 97's on Ebay right now. He seems to be upping the bids with this fake bidder c....s(0). First time they each sold for $1025.00. Then he said buyer couldn't pay and relisted them( 4 minutes after sold). Then sold again for $890.00 each, again to c....s(0). A few minutes later relisted and said buyer couldn't pay, so on right now again.....oh, and he has a third eco meter on now too, so far it's around $660.00.....sounds pretty fishy to me...so buyer beware...and I wish all the cheats and scum would just choke on their dishonesty!
