Thanks for all the info.... The thread was not useless.. Thanks for everybodys input... This is why I think MARKING all reproductions are important. No matter with original molds or not they are Repops... IMO

Jim: Why aren't your reproduction globes marked ? It's a question that deserves an answer.
Here's what my two Wide Bodies weighed
Wide Body Threaded "Metal" Fitter, rusted where it won't come off.
13.1 LBS W/Lenses,,, 9.2 LBS WO/Lenses The Lenses came to 4 LBS
Wide Body Non Threaded 14 LBS, Lenses weighed 3.8 LBS

Jim doesn't make them... want them marked talk to the people that makes them. Jim buys them just like Vic's and gas pump heaven and so one.

I don't give .... who makes them !!! He sells them, glad you could speak for up Jim. No way to grind a date into the throat of the body ?
I don't want/buy reproduction, I'm looking out for the other Joe. And a reproduction made from an original mold is the reason for the prices being same. Now that's a bunch of ***** just to make more money off them. Being the manufacture or seller.
You say your for reproduction wide bodies ? Been here 14 years and "never" complained about them before ? Or any kind of reproduction/junk for that matter ?

I have complained but it never did any good. I hate repop junk more than any one on here. Most everyone knows that.
Jim sells 10-15 glass bodies a year so I am sure he is the one flooding the market with un marked repop bodies. LOL I spoke up for Jim because I am friends with him and knows where he buys them from... and when for that matter.
I am sure Jim wants to chance grinding a glass body to date it and chance breaking one when hundreds of others are selling them.
Doug... Are you just wanting to argue? It sure seems like it.
