Hey Dick, when you get your 3D printer up and running I need a couple of L1 belt buckle locks made. Just putting my order in now so I don't get too mired down in the backlog of orders.....

Some of can remember when computors were as big as buses & now almost everyone has one in their pocket, soon it will fit in your ear. They do make 3D printers that make parts in plastic, just a matter of time till price drops & w/ new plastics will be stronger than mild steel.

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

I'm not sure if you could claim that process is faster than conventional casting methods once a master is actually created. For one-off pieces I can see it's use, but for high production I still think traditional casting systems are more efficient. If you had to make 1000 of those handles a master mold created with this process makes sense as the computer design and creation would definitely be quicker for something so intricate.
