Got several good photos the other day which I plan on using for an upcoming article or COTM. Here is a teaser.

I also have a question. What is the pump and oil can dispenser models shown (not the rack). They appear to be of the same design/model.

Thanks!

More teasers. Both shots of same pump but different angles. One in B&W, other color.

That last color pic looks like the pump color is a light blue green. When I look closer at the first pic the pump in the middle might be that same color with this first one being a light tan or cream color. Sure wish we could determine exactly what pump colors they used.....

There appears to be 2 pump colors. A light cream/tan (similar to the globe lens background) and the other pump was an ugly bluegreen color (also what the station building was painted). These are based off my late 50's - early 60's photos.

I have been a contributing author to CTO since 1995, and most of my articles have been about gas pumps and what you would find around the island. I welcome anyone who wants to write anything about this subject, should you need information, pictures about a certain subject, just contact me.

Years ago the late Earl Ma wrote a great article about Conoco stations and I supplied almost all the pictures he used. Also, about 20 years I was given a stack of pictures, an album, a DVD all about a Colorado oil company that had coin operated pumps. I felt that this was not the type of article I was capable of writing so I sent everything to Earl. He was able to put it all together and wrote a great article for CTO. Unfortunately, Earl died young, this hobby lost a great guy.

Back to the subject, need anything contact me, but I wish you would contribute your information to CTO.
