I just bought a 10 gallon Fry Mae west pump, I was told by the seller that the 5 gallons are more valuable, are the 10 gallon ones still quite valuable, why are the 5 gallons worth more?

Demand vs. Supply. Things in short supply command higher purchase prices. My simplistic understanding is they didn't make as many of them. Fry 10-gal pumps seem to be pretty common in the "for sale" ads (ie, Ebay, Craigslist, newspapers). You don't see near as many Fry 5-gal pumps for sale. Greg
