Hi, just joined with hopes of getting a better image of this pearl oil sign. It was blown up 16 times from a 1930's real photo postcard. Would like to determine the type styles and what the small print on the sign says, also the colors. This will be used in 3-D artwork of a 1930's transportation scene. Thanks.

Pearl Oil is a Standard Oil Product [Kerosene]. Colors are RED, BLUE, BLACK, WHITE, and GREY.

Maybe someone here will post a picture of theirs for you.

Thanks Dick for the color info. Is a picture of the sign in any reference book you know of? Knowing which one would narrow down my options considerably.

That narrows it down Rex! Added .com to the link you gave and got to the Aumann site and searching through the past auctions did get to the GPM auction info and item 41 is indeed a Pearl Oil sign. Don't know if it's the same shape as the sign in my link but if it is, is there anyone who can scan that photo for me or sell me the auction catalog?
Thanks.
