i am trying to get my pump to light up on my wayne 70 on the side panel acess door the is a square box on the conduit piping with a shaft sticking out of it is that the on/off switch if soo it is frozen any tricks to freeing them up

That is the light switch and it looks to be the one that rotates for the on /off? There are no tricks, short of taking the light manifold out of the pump, struggling to get the cover off the switch box, and possibly having a bad switch anyway?
A lot of people simply remove that cast iron box and put a regular light switch box in there.
Anyway, theres no tricks--just take it all apart and hope it works when you're done!

ok thanks i took apart my tokheim 39 short and got it to work and that one is sping loaded and pushs in and out, just wanted to ask before i took it apart

Put a little heat on the boss around the on/off plunger.Grab on to it with a small Vise Grip. Rotate just enough to get loose, lots of DWI -40 spraying around. If you can get it loose it goes in and out. Same switch as a W-60.
