Well, the 39 is coming along. Decided to restore the pump to Sinclair.

I'm sort of a stickler for authenticity. I noticed that the Illustrated Guide says the logo with the BIG dinosaur was not original to Sinclar Co., but was fabricated later and never used by the company.

If this is true, then what globe and sign choice would be authentic? The globe with "DINO" on it? How about the square pump sign with the small dinosaur...was it original?

Thanks.

JJ

JJ, the trapazoid porcelain pump sign was used. Has a small dinosaur with Sinclair above him. Sorta looks like a sign within the sign. A globe with DINO in large letters across the center and a small Sinclair (with dinosaur) sign pictured above the lettering.

Thanks, Gary. After I posted, I found the Sinclair Co. website. It had the info I was looking for. That is a great site for history and other info about Sinclair!
