Just bought this dinosaur at a neighbors estate sale for $25.
Walker Roll a Car #740 series H.. Anyone know approximate year. Should clean up great. Might end up for sale after I trip over it a few times.

Larry. In one of my old garage supply catalogs (1929), it shows your #740 Walker jack at $36. I used to have one just like it that I displayed at my re-created gas station. After busting my ankles several times on it, I sold it for $25! Sam

You'll have fun using that!!!

Brings back memories. "Roll a Car" is a fitting name. Years ago when I would deliver gas to a station on Sundays and someone had parked a car on the fills for Monday service, I would get the attendent to help me roll out that type of jack, and we would jack up the car and roll it off the fills.

I paid $10 for mine because the man couldn't get it to work. I use it quite often!
