I was wondering if whoever won this auction got a good deal. Is that a typical price for that sign in that condition? Thanks!

For the condition I would say that is fair.

I am always looking for anything Texaco or Oklahoma oil and gas company's, also I am a newbie at seeking globes.

wink I think it was a good price. Maybe as much as $500 low depending on the area of the country, and if a similar sign was at a Major Show or Big Auction, where bidders can get crazy. Had it been closer I would have been a player up to $1500 to upgrade mine. smile

I'd have to agree with Ed. Could easily have brought a couple hundred more under the right circumstances.

Prices vary a lot by region and by the selling venue. It was a fair price considering the location and venue.

That was a good buy. Local pick up only. Typically, signs with no shipping offered don't do as well.

These HC signs have really taken off since I started in the hobby . I believe that price is fair for the condition . Looks to be a really nice clean sign.

I like SINCLAIR and old American made stuff ... No china items.

Some chips and some fade, still shows well from the pictures. Not a bargain but well bought in my opinion, for what that's worth...
