Well, the 21st is once again upon us, I've gotta get this out cause 4:00 AM comes early tomorrow morning. I'm starting a 5 week job for a big paper mill but that WILL NOT interfere with my working on the oldgas project pump nor perusing this site!
Well, enough about me, this month's edition is honoring the twin gas pumps in this world. Be it visibles, electrics or whatever, the word for this month is TWINS.
Post your pictures, your stories, your brouchures and lies, all are welcome. Feel free to e-mail me any pictures and I will gladly post them for you. THANKS for looking, let's make this month's POTM a big one!
Neal

Heres is my G&B 914 from 1952...well it use to be mine up until a week ago. I traded it to my buddy Dale for powdercoating work. He is going to powder coat my clockface pumps so i can get some of my projects done finally. The double was originally a Chevron pump until it was retired to a bulk plant and painted industrial grey. ------------------ Hubba: GAS GEEK , OIL FREAK and humble moderator

Gary Drye; The tok. 350 twin looks like one of two I saw in Sebring.Fla. back in 2001. they were at a tire shop that used to be a gas station years ago. Highland is a fla. compamy as I remember. If this isn't one of these pumps, they might still be there for you southern collectors.

Oillease55, this may have been one of the pumps you saw. A lawyer in Ft. Lauderdale found and purchased it. Is that close to where you saw it? He brought it to me for a restoration and it now resides back in Florida with him.

Here in another barn fresh beauty. It is a Service Station Equipment Model 700, or "Canadian Twin" I have at least 40 of these stashed on property accross Western Canada, but every time I go to pick one of them up, the people that live there think they still own it, people can be so unreasonable

Another awesome pump, this is an Erie clockface, and a showcase pump, very cool. Ward I chased those pumps but never caught them, the photos are about 20 years old. I think the pumps are still there, they are just North South East West of Calgary..........

Here we go Dodo, your G&B 86 Twin. Do you remember that day, seeing all those pumps lined up on the side of that building, haven't had one like that since. Dodo spent $1000 he couldn't afford on a huge truckload of pumps, so I helped him out and gave him $300 for the G&B 80, cause that whats friends are for, LOL.....Somewhere I have a picture of that days haul, I'll find it and post it too. Good Luck on the Hunt Lance / The Pogo Man

Thanks Chris, here is some more eye candy to start the day. This is one of the most beautifull Clear Vision 700's I've ever seen, it was restored by Ted Appleby who found Service Station Nostalgia back in the 1980's. Good Luck on the Hunt Lance / The Pogo Man

Jeff I bought that picture last night, pretty cool huh? I have another one of the girl standing over the pumps, I bought it last year and was pretty happy to find this one. As far as twins go, I've seen lots, owned just a few, but I'll find you one if you really really want one.

Ward, thats the standard directions I give for all pump locations, its a straight answer they can't quite figure out That is a G&B, you are correct, strange that we have so many single G&B in Canada and not many twins, even though its a G&B, its still a pretty rare pump compared to a Clear Vision. Here's another great pump I posted earlier this month, restored by Jim Williams in Ontario, this pump is simply outstanding, he did a top notch job. It is a Vulcanizer, manufactured by, and used exclusively at Canadian Supertest stations, which is a shame, they should have used these everywhere, then maybe I could find one LOL.

Here is another Square Bowser, (Bowser also made an oval base twin) , these pumps are just plain huge. If you find one in the wild, you'd better have a truck full of friends to help you move it. We moved one last year, 4 guys, and we wound up with 2 hernias and a 1 trip to the chiropractor, I was fine of course [This message has been edited by PogoGas.com (edited 03-04-2005).]

I got a request , could someone that knows how to slice and glue get the double on Buy of the week on here, and Amistadi sold one a week ago, get that pic too.
Question, did these have a single globe usually and if you run double globes do you have to shim due to curvature??
Thanks d0d0

Being as how I'm new here and just saw this post, thought I'd post this set of Bennett twins I picked up last week. These were my first purchase as a newbie to the collecting of Texaco, but thought I should share these images.
